Fox
Wood Wildlife Rescue is a Wildlife Rehabilitation facility, Education
Center and Sanctuary located in the rolling hills of East Concord, NY.
Fox
Wood is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating New York State wildlife
with return to the wild being our goal. Our small size enhances the
high quality, individualized care for our patients and permanent
residents.
Fox
Wood is a sanctuary for foxes that have disabilities that render them unable
to survive in the wild. Some of these foxes serve as ambassadors for our
educational programs.
Fox
Wood is an educational center providing on site educational programs
given by a NYS Certified Science teacher.
As
of July 2000, we are the only wildlife center in Erie County licensed to
accept and care for animals deemed Rabies Vector Species (RVS Certification).
At the present time, this includes bats, skunks and raccoons.
Fox
Wood is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit Organization supported entirely on donations
from the community and persons who love animals.
Fox
Wood is a United Way of Buffalo and Erie County Participant
